Survey of 70 kms 60kV transmission line around Lake Tahoe in California for further reconstruction study. The deliverables are PLS-CADD model of the transmission line corridor and high-resolution orthophotos.

South Australian electricity transmission network operator ElectraNet required the identification of potential low spans on around 1,000 kms of their transmission lines. The scope of works included airborne LIDAR and aerial imagery data acquisition, establishment of ground control network and ground check-points, development of reliable PLS-CADD models and generation of low spans reports. Identification of low spans required calculation of conductors’ temperature applying CIGRE methodology and using meteo data collected in the field. Deliverables are feature-coded LIDAR data, PLS-CADD models, high-resolution orthophoto and engineering reports identifying low and potentially low spans at maximum operating temperature.

Implementation of LiDAR data collection within the framework of the survey of 255 km of 63, 90,225 and 400 kV power transmission lines for Réseau de Transport d’Electricité de France. The results of the data processing stage include feature coded LiDAR data, high-resolution digital orthophoto mosaics, DXF files, profiles of the lines in Autocad 2000 originally generated in PLS-CADD, sheets of features and parameters of OPL as well as results of temperature and conductor parameters calculations.

Airborne survey of two routes for a proposed electricity transmission lines with total length 160 km. Survey was carried using LiDAR sensor, digital photo and video equipment.

Airborne LiDAR survey of 30 km corridor with three overhead power transmission lines running alongside. Survey was required to develop computer models for design of overhead line facilities and modeling for analysis of existing lines. The list of deliverables consisted of PLS-CADD model of each line and ROW, high-resolution orthorectified imagery and meteorological data.
