Dec, 2005 USA, Kansas Airborne LiDAR survey of overhead power transmission lines in Kansas, USA, for Kansas City Power & Light. 200 km of power lines were successfully surveyed with the purpose of further engineering analysis and uprating as well as for vegetation management needs. As a result of the data processing OPTEN delivered PLS-CADD models of the lines and specific vegetation management data. |
Dec, 2005 USA, California Airborne LiDAR survey of 45 km overhead power transmission line in California, USA, for engineering analysis and uprating. Deliverables were PLS-CADD model of the line and ROW, high-resolution orthorectified imagery and meteorological data for conductor temperature calculations. |
Sep, 2005 - Oct, 2005 USA, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina OPTEN carried out the second stage of the airborne LiDAR survey of overhead power transmission lines in Tennessee, USA. 1870 km of power lines were successfully surveyed with the purpose of further engineering analysis and uprating. As a result of the data processing OPTEN provided PLS-CADD projects ready for engineering analysis implementation. The collected meteo data in the region of the survey was used for further conductor temperature calculations. |
Apr, 2005 - Aug, 2005 Russia Airborne LiDAR survey of corridors of oil-trunk pipelines and departmental communication lines within the framework of land-use organization and cadastre registration of land under the objects belonging to Joint Stock Company "TRANSNEFT". The work was carried out in 6 federal regions of Russian Federation in the territory of 15 autonomous formations and 45 regions. In 2005 airborne LiDAR survey flying season OPTEN surveyed more than 14,000 km of the oil-trunk pipeline corridors. |

Apr, 2005 USA, Tennessee, Alabama Tennessee, USA with the purpose of further engineering analysis and uprating. The data collecting stage was carried out in the shortest period of 8 flying days. As a result of the data processing OPTEN delivered manageable PLS-CADD project files ready for engineering analysis implementation. In addition to LiDAR data we also collected meteo data in the region of the survey for further conductor temperature calculations. |
