Airborne LiDAR survey of corridors of oil-trunk pipelines and departmental communication lines within the framework of land-use organization and cadastre registration of land under the infrastructure objects belonging . The work is being carried out in 6 Federal Regions of Russian Federation in the territory of 15 Autonomous Formations and 45 regions. At the first stage of the 2004 airborne LiDAR survey data acquisition season OPTEN surveyed 24,000 km of the oil-trunk pipeline corridors and telecom lines. This amount of airborne LiDAR survey work executed by single company within one flying season is record in the history of the LiDAR technology application not only in Russia, but also all over the world.
