In August 2004 OPTEN has been officially ISO 9001:2000 certified by IQNet for airborne LiDAR data collection and interpretation for provision of advanced surveying, mapping and engineering services for distributed infrastructure and land applications, as well as design of overhead power transmission lines and fiber-optic telecommunication lines.
ISO 9001:2000 is an updated and extended version of ISO 9001 standard. In 2001 OPTEN was first in the industry certified to ISO 9001 by TUV.
The core subject of the Quality Management System maintained in OPTEN is the enhancement of Customers’ satisfaction through meeting and exceeding their needs and expectations and continuous perfection of the professional activity.
Every day we implement various quality assurance procedures throughout our survey, post-processing and engineering activities to ensure error-free and accurate products delivered to our Customers.
Most important quality assurance procedures we apply are independent accuracy checks and frequent project audits. The detailed methodology of the accuracy check procedure will be agreed with the Customer. In line with our Quality Management System we maintain the adherence to applicable data security regulations ensuring the protection from the unauthorized access to the confidential data.
ISO 9001:2000 covers all business processes ranging from documentation management, verifications and analyses of results to stepwise improvements.
