RTE 2011 - 2016

In alliance with Nantes engineering firm Atlantique Etudes OPTEN has won the six-year tender of French electric grid company, Réseau de Transport d’Électricité, for power line technical condition monitoring, 63-400 kV power line as-built documentation update, power line modeling using PLS-CADD software and calculation of clearances to the ground, vegetation and crossing infrastructure objects.

The won lot has become the biggest project in France which involves power line technical condition monitoring on the base of airborne LiDAR survey: half of all lines of which the RTE Company carries out the technical condition monitoring will be inspected by aerial surveying.
